2025 End of Year Concert - Studio Portraits, 22nd November 2025

​

Please arrive at the studio 30 minutes before your assigned time. Last year, we were sometimes up to 30 minutes ahead, and arriving early allows our teachers and helpers to assist students with any final preparations.

Please bring the following:

- Tights: Ballet & Tan
- Shoes: Ballet, Jazz, and Taps shoes
- Hair: Low bun with any wispy bits secured with hairspray
- No Makeup: We kindly ask students not to wear makeup for the photos!

👉 Not all classes are required for these rehearsals - (for example, Tap is not included), so please check the timetable carefully to find your child's class and time. If your child's class isn't listed, your child is not required.

 

We ask that all students arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled time, dressed in their usual class attire and ready to dance.


Please note that attendance is required for all classes listed above — these rehearsals help the children feel confident and ready for concert day.

  • Tuesday 16th December - Stage Rehearsal @ Sacred Heart Theatre, Sorrento, 4pm - 8pm

  • Wednesday 17th December - Stage Rehearsal @ Sacred Heart Theatre, Sorrento 4pm - 8pm

  • Saturday 20th December - End of Year Concert, Sacred Heart Theatre Sorrento 9:30am arrival, estimated finish of second show 4:30pm

2025 End of Year Concert - Studio Rehearsal, 13th December 2025

A reminder that Saturday 13th December is our last Studio Rehearsal Day. This is an important opportunity for Miss Karen and our teaching team to run through all routines with students present — identifying any quick changes, spacing, or areas that may need a little extra practice before we reach the Stage Rehearsals.

 

The running order reflects the proposed concert order, and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests for routines to be moved earlier or later due to other commitments. It's important that all students attend their allocated rehearsal time so we can make any final adjustments before heading to the theatre.

 

What You Need to Know

  • Start Times: We will be starting at 8:45am sharp. Please ensure you drop your children off at 8:30am so that we can make a prompt start.

  • Food & Water: Please pack your children with enough food & water to get them through. (No Food Deliveries please)

​

  • The rehearsal will be at the studio – 55 Roberts Street, Osborne Park

​

  • Run Times: Please refer carefully to the schedule below. We'll be running on time, so you can use these details for drop-off and pick-up planning.​

  • Drop Off: Please arrive 15 minutes before your child's scheduled time so we can stay on track and ensure they don't miss their rehearsal.

  • Finale: All students are required for the Finale rehearsal. This is the only opportunity we have to practise this number as a full group.

    • If your child rehearses in the morning, they will need to stay until 12:00pm for the Finale before leaving.

    • Students in routines scheduled after the Finale must remain until their final rehearsal is complete.

2025 End of Year Concert - Stage Rehearsal Information

 

 

​​Dress Rehearsals – Sacred Heart Theatre, Sorrento

 

IMPORTANT: For the children's safety and orientation all students are required at the dress rehearsals. Being on stage can be extremely disorienting, and (particularly if they have never performed onstage before) it is imperative that they attend.

 

  • There will be 2 rehearsals at the theatre. Some students will be required on both days and others may only need to be there for 1 of the days.

  • Children are required to bring their own tights, underwear and all their dance shoes, food and water. We take care of everything else, so please double and triple check your kids bags are ready.

  • Hair will need to be in a low bun, all whispy bits and fringes to be tied back with hairspray and bobby pins.

  • If you require hair supplies (Hair nets, hair ties, Bobby pins & Bun pins), we are selling Hair boxes for $15. If you need to top your supplies up come and see Jules at the studio before Dress Rehearsal day!

  • NO JEWELLERY - All Earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets must be taken off before arriving at the theatre. If anyone has newly pierced earrings please have them replaced with the small clear plastic earrings so they are not visible.

1st Rehearsal is Tuesday 16th December. The students required for this day are as follows;

2nd Rehearsal is Wednesday 17th December. The students required for this day are as follows; 

  1. All Academy students

  4. Jazz Mini Mon & Sat - You-re the One that I Want

  5. Contemporary 3 & 5 (Miss Lucy's classes) - The Consolations of Philosphy

  6. Acro 2/3 Monday - Real in Rio

  7. All Musical Theatre students

  8. Acro 3/4/5 Sat & Acro 6/7/8 Sat - Survivor

  9. Contemporary PP, 1 & 2 (Miss Karen's classes) - La Seine

  

  • Please arrive at the theatre by 4pm for both days.

  • We will be doing a stage rehearsal with each item from 4pm to 7pm. Students will be allowed to watch each item until it is their turn on stage

  • From 7pm to 8pm we will then be doing a full stage rehearsal (This includes costuming & some lighting)

  • Students can be collected from the foyer between 8:15pm & 8:30pm

End of Year Concert, "From Screen to Stage" –

​

  • Date: Saturday 20th December is the big day

  • Location: RNDM Performing Arts Theatre, Sacred Heart College Sorrento

  • Time: All students need to arrive at 9:30am and are required for both shows. The concerts will be 10:30am & 2:00pm

  • Hair will need to be in a low bun, all whispy bits and fringes to be tied back with hairspray and bobby pins.

  • NO JEWELLERY - All Earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets must be taken off before arriving at the theatre. If anyone has newly pierced earrings please have them replaced with the small clear plastic earrings so they are not visible.
