2024 End of Year Concert - Studio & Stage Rehearsal Information

1. Studio Rehearsal –

• We will be starting our rehearsals from 8:45am sharp. Please ensure you drop your children off at 8:30am so that we can make a prompt start.

• Please pack your children with enough food & water to get them through to 2pm. (No Food Deliveries please)

• The rehearsal will be at the studio – 55 Roberts Street, Osborne Park

2. Dress Rehearsals – Sacred Heart Theatre, Sorrento

 

IMPORTANT: For the children's safety and orientation all students are required at the dress rehearsals. Being on stage can be extremely disorienting, and (particularly if they have never performed onstage before) it is imperative that they attend.

 

• There will be 2 rehearsals at the theatre. Some students will be required on both days and others may only need to be there for 1 of the days.

• Children are required to bring their own tights, underwear and all their dance shoes, food and water. We take care of everything else, so please double and triple check your kids bags are ready.

• Hair will need to be in a low bun, all whispy bits and fringes to be tied back with hairspray and bobby pins.

• If you require hair supplies (Hair nets, hair ties, Bobby pins & Bun pins), we are selling Hair boxes for $15. If you need to top your supplies up come and see Jules at the studio before Dress Rehearsal day!

• NO JEWELLERY - All Earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets must be taken off before arriving at the theatre. If anyone has newly pierced earrings please have them replaced with the small clear plastic earrings so they are not visible.

1st Rehearsal is Tuesday 10th December. The students required for this day are as follows;

1. All Academy Students

2. Acro Level 1 – Twist & Shout

3. Contemporary 1 & 2 – The Arrival of the Birds (The students who attend Mon 5:40pm, Tuesday 3:40pm & Thursday 5:40pm class with Miss Karen)

4. Hip Hop

5. Acro 2/3 – Wake me up before you Go Go

6. Tap 4/5 – Town Called Malice

7. Jazz Petite, Petite Ext & Jazz Junior – Disturbia

8. Jazz Jnr & Jazz Teen – Sing Sing Sing

9. Acro 2/3/4 – Holding out for a Hero (This is the Wednesday 4:40pm class with Miss Dakota & Miss Lucy)

10. Jazz Mini & Jazz Min Ext – Blame it on the Boogie

11. Flamenco

12. Acro 5/6/7 – Bohemian Rhapsody (This is the Saturday class)

13. Musical Theatre – Food Glorious Food

2nd Rehearsal is Wednesday 11th December. The students required for this day are as follows; 

1. All Academy students

2. All Ballet Students

3. Tap 1 & 2 – The Charleston

4. Contemporary 2, 3 & 4 – Day Dream Retreat (Miss Lucy Tuesday 5:40pm Contemporary 2 class),

5. Acro ‘3/4 - Blue

  

• Please arrive at the theatre by 4pm for both days.

• We will be doing a stage rehearsal with each item from 4pm to 7pm. Students will be allowed to watch each item until it is their turn on stage

• From 7pm to 8pm we will then be doing a full stage rehearsal (This includes costuming & some lighting)

• Students can be collected from the foyer between 8:15pm & 8:30pm
